When You create a user profile in the Services and confirm being the holder of a certain number, School Chimes will collect the information provided by You. In order to create a user profile, You must register Your first name, last name and phone number. Additional information that may be provided at Your option include, but is not limited to, photo, gender, street address and zip code, country of residence, email address or any other personal details as deemed necessary by the institution.
1.2 Installation and Use
When You install and use the Services, School Chimes will collect devices details You
may use in Your interaction with our Services. This information may include geo-location,
IP address, device identifiers, device and hardware settings, SIM usage, applications
installed, operating system, browser, operator, IMSI, connection information, usage
statistics, logs, metadata and other usage activity.
Some information arising from Your interaction with the Services cannot be used to
identify You and will not constitute personal information under this Policy.
1.3 Contact Information
The School Chimes mobile application may seek permission to store designated phone
numbers through which school voice messages are delivered, solely to avoid spam
flagging and ensure parents do not miss important communications.
No other contact information will be collected, and users may choose not to store
such numbers at any time.
2. LOCAL STORAGE
We do not use cookies in School Chimes. All user data is stored in local storage on the
user's device.
Local storage is used to store login credentials and session information, allowing
users to stay logged in while reducing server load.
Security measures include encryption, access controls, and continuous monitoring
to detect suspicious activity.
3. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
School Chimes may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. In case of significant changes, Users will be notified via the Services. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
